The Laurus Creative Kids Camp caters to children ages 3 to 8 and provides them with the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of activities across all creative fields. Our creative and curriculum based programming, led by very experienced and vetted teachers, focuses on a variety of activities across the worlds of Art, Drama, Dance, Music, Cooking and Magic, helping children develop confidence in themself and their skillset each step of the way.
Throughout the day, our Creative campers will be exposed to 4 hours* of professional classes and workshops with experienced teachers across 4 separate creative disciplines. On top of their daily creative enrichment, our Creative campers will have the opportunity to take part in fun outdoor activities which include water games, traditional camp games, sports, events, and so much more! Weekly activities will also include special guest speakers, ranging from philanthropy to athletes, outer space to theater, and everything in between! On Fridays, we showcase our campers’ creative abilities by hosting our weekly Laurus’ Got Creativity Show! * Please note, our Junior campers (ages 3 & 4) will only be exposed to 3 hours of professional creative classes and workshops per day, in order to accommodate a designated nap time or quiet down-time after lunch. Their schedule may vary slightly from the one shown below.
We believe that creativity is a fundamental part of a child’s growth and that is through the introduction and exploration of various creative channels that a child develops confidence, resilience, innovative thinking, and resourcefulness. Your Creative camper will be placed in an age appropriate group led by a Laurus counselor and 1 expert teacher that will be leading a class of no more than 15 children. Our average 6:1 camper to counselor ratio allows our team to tailor our Creative Kids Camp to every child’s needs, creating a personal and hands-on experience. We promise to do our best to meet all of your requests and give your child the most memorable summer experience!
